Dormani Limited Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty — Terms & Conditions
1. Warranty Scope
Dormani (“Company”) warrants that all craftsmanship and installation work performed on the customer’s property (“Work”) will be free from craftsmanship-related defects for the expected useful life of a standard residential kitchen, defined as ten (10) years from the original installation date (“Warranty Period”).
This is a Limited Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty, where “Lifetime” refers specifically to the expected lifespan defined above and not the lifetime of the homeowner or the indefinite lifespan of the product.
2. What Is Covered
This warranty covers craftsmanship defects directly resulting from Dormani’s installation work, including but not limited to:
- Loose or misaligned doors or drawer fronts
- Edge lifting caused by improper installation
- Visible seams resulting from improper adhesion
- Uneven surfaces resulting from installer error
- Hardware (hinges, handles, glides) improperly installed by Dormani
- Adhesive or bonding failure caused by improper technique
3. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, aging, or natural material expansion
- Damage caused by moisture, steam, humidity, water leaks, or flooding
- Impact damage, scratches, dents, gouges, or abrasions
- Damage caused by improper cleaning agents, abrasive pads, solvents, or chemicals
- Damage caused by third parties, including other contractors
- Modifications by the homeowner or other installers
- Material defects (these are covered by manufacturer warranties only)
- Damage caused by pets, children, or misuse
- Alteration, repainting, refinishing, or resurfacing of any area after installation
- Removal or replacement of appliances causing cabinet shifts or damage
4. Manufacturer Material Warranties
All materials (doors, drawer fronts, laminates, vinyls, hardware, etc.) are covered solely by the respective manufacturers under their own warranty terms. Dormani does not provide material warranties.
Dormani will assist customers in submitting manufacturer warranty claims when applicable.
5. Conditions for Warranty Service
To qualify for warranty coverage:
- Customer must notify Dormani in writing of any suspected craftsmanship defect within 30 days of discovery.
- Customer must provide reasonable access for inspection and repair.
- Homeowner must follow Dormani’s cleaning and care guidelines.
- The installation must remain unaltered by any third party.
6. Dormani’s Right to Repair
Dormani reserves the right to:
- Inspect the issue before approving any warranty claim
- Determine whether repair or replacement is the appropriate solution
- Perform all warranty repairs using materials and techniques of Dormani’s choosing
Warranty coverage does not include:
- Compensation for homeowner inconvenience
- Temporary boarding, lodging, or kitchen usage accommodations
- Cosmetic preferences unrelated to installation defects
7. Limitations & Exclusions
This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser and installation address.
Dormani is not responsible for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Labor or repair costs associated with third-party alterations
- Issues arising from building settling or structural movement
8. Void Conditions
The warranty becomes void if:
- Unapproved cleaners or chemicals are used (including Magic Erasers, acetone, alcohol, bleach-based cleaners, degreasers, steam cleaning tools, or solvents)
- Cabinets are repainted, refinished, or resurfaced
- Excessive moisture or heat exposure (steamers, humidifiers, kettles placed under cabinets)
- Repairs or adjustments are attempted by anyone other than Dormani
9. Warranty Claim Procedure
To file a claim:

support@dormani.com with:
- Name
- Address
- Date of installation
- Photos or video of the issue
Dormani will respond within 3–5 business days.
10. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
